September 14, 2005 BAC General Body Alumni Meeting
Alumni are welcome to all BAC meetings which occur on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. General Body Meetings are more informative in nature and cater to alumni that are new to the BAC or have not been involved in a while.

December 17, 2006 2nd Annual “Bridging the Gap” Ivy Student Welcome Event
This event is an opportunity for Black Alumni from all of the Ivies to connect with Black students from all the Ivies. The event is hosted annually by The League.

February 9, 2006 21st Annual Black Heritage Reception
The annual event where we celebrate our culture by recognizing outstanding Black Alumni. This year the BAC honors Ron Simons '82 with the Black Heritage Award and Renan Pierre '86 & '87E with the Mentor Award.

A Valentines Event for singles in the city. The evening includes dinner, drinks, a comedy show, and good company.

March 3, 2006 "Silence: In Search of Black Female Sexuality in America"
BOSS hosts a screening of Mya Baker's acclaimed documentary about the historical silencing o f Black female sexuality. Following the screening is a discussion with the filmmaker. The rising writer and producer, Mya Baker, will also be featured on VH1's upcoming reality show, "Can't Get a Date".

BOSS joins the Black Students Organization, Columbia Univesity College Democrats, and the Working Families Party to screen a film about Columbia graduate, Shirley Chisholm's serious sun for the presidency in 1972. This both comical and shocking film can be purchased at http://www.foxstore.com/.
